a. Our products and services.
We rely on a number of legal bases to ensure that our use of your personal information complies with applicable law. We use personal information to facilitate business relationships with our users, to comply with our financial regulatory and other legal obligations, and to pursue our legitimate business interests. We also use Personal Information to complete payment transactions and to provide payment-related services to our users.
b. Marketing and Event-Related Communications.
We may send you marketing emails about Yedpay’s products and services, invite you to participate in our events or surveys, or otherwise communicate with you for marketing purposes, provided that we comply with consent requirements under applicable law. When we collect your business contacts through participation in trade shows or other events, we may use this information to follow up with you about the event, to send you information you have requested about our products and services, and, with your permission, to include you in our marketing information campaigns.
uidpay does not sell or rent personal data to marketers or non-affiliated third parties. We do share your personal data with the trusted entities listed below.
a. Service Providers. We share personal data with a limited number of service providers. We have a number of service providers who provide various services on our behalf, such as authentication services, website hosting, data analytics, information technology and related infrastructure, customer service, email delivery, and auditing services. These service providers may require access to personal data in order to provide their services. We authorize such service providers to use or disclose personal data only as necessary to provide services on our behalf or to comply with legal requirements. We require that such service providers contractually commit to protect the security and confidentiality of the personal data they process on our behalf.
b. Business Partners. We share personal data with third party business partners when it is necessary to provide services to users. The third parties to whom we may disclose Personal Data for this purpose include: banks and payment method providers (such as wallet and card networks) when we provide payment processing services, and professional services firms with whom we partner to provide uidpay. c. e. Compliance and Harm Prevention. We may share personal data when we believe it is necessary to (i) comply with applicable laws or payment method rules; (ii) enforce our contractual rights; (iii) protect the rights, privacy, safety, and property of uidpay, you, or others; and (iv) respond to requests from courts, law enforcement agencies, regulators, and other public and governmental authorities (which may include authorities outside your country of residence).
You have choices regarding our use and disclosure of your personal information:
a. Opt-out of our electronic communications. If you no longer wish to receive marketing-related emails from us, you may choose to unsubscribe through the unsubscribe link included in such emails. We will accommodate your request as soon as reasonably possible. Please note that even if you choose to unsubscribe from our marketing-related emails, we may still send you important administrative information that is critical to the provision of the Services to you.
b. How to View or Change Your Account Personal Information. If you would like to review, correct, or update the Personal Information you have previously disclosed to us, you may do so by logging into your uidpay account or by contacting uidpay.
c. Your Data Protection Rights. Depending on your location and subject to applicable law, you may have the following rights with respect to your personal data under our control:
The right to request confirmation as to whether uidpay processes personal data relating to you and, if so, the right to request a copy of that personal data;
The right to request uidpay to correct or update your personal data that is inaccurate, incomplete or out of date;
The right to request uidpay to erase your personal data in certain circumstances, as defined by law;
The right to request uidpay to limit, in certain circumstances, the the use of your personal data, for example when uidpay is considering another request submitted by you (including a request for uidpay to update your personal data); and
the right to request that, where technically feasible, the personal data we hold about you is exported to another company for the purpose of providing services to you.
You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time if the processing of your personal data is based on your previously given consent. You also have the right to object to the processing of your personal data on grounds relating to your particular situation.
d. Processes for exercising data protection rights. In order to exercise your data protection rights, you may contact uidpay as described in the contact section below. we take every request seriously. We take each request seriously and will comply with your request to the extent required by applicable law. If we no longer hold your personal data, we will not be able to respond to the request. If you believe that you have not received a satisfactory response, you may consult the data protection authority in your country. For your protection, we may need to verify your identity before responding to your request, for example by verifying that the email address you sent your request to matches the email address we have on file. If we no longer need to process your personal data to provide our services or website, we will not retain, obtain or process additional information used to identify you in order to respond to your request.
If you are a customer of a uidpay user, please direct your request to that user. For example, if you are using or have used uidpay as a payment processor to purchase items from a merchant and your request relates to the payment information you provided in the purchase transaction, then you should send your request directly to the merchant.
We make reasonable efforts to ensure a level of security appropriate to the risks associated with the processing of personal data. We take organizational, technical and administrative measures aimed at protecting personal data within the organization from unauthorized access, destruction, loss, alteration or misuse. Only a limited number of persons who need access to the information in order to perform their duties have access to your personal data. Unfortunately, no data transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. If you have reason to believe that your interactions with us are no longer secure (for example, if you believe the security of your account has been compromised), please contact us immediately. We also retain personal data to fulfill our tax, accounting, and financial reporting obligations; we are required to retain data pursuant to our contractual commitments to our financial partners; and data retention is required by the payment methods we support. The “Last Updated” legend at the top of this Privacy Policy indicates when this Privacy Policy was last revised. Any changes will be effective when we post the revised Privacy Policy on the Services. We may provide you with disclosures and reminders related to the Privacy Policy or collected personal data by posting them on our website, and if you are a user, we may also contact you via your Yedpay control panel, e-mail address and/or physical address listed in your Yedpay account.
The Service may provide links to other websites. These sites may operate independently of us and may have their own privacy statements or policies, which we strongly encourage you to review. If any linked site is not owned or controlled by us, we are not responsible for its content, any use of the site, or the privacy practices of the site operator.
